1. Essay writing workshops:

 

Students  interested in signing up for series of essay writing workshops beginning on Wednesday 18 March between 1:00 and 3:30 should send a note to wcmaster@yorku.ca  We would like to estimate the interest in a series of workshops before establishing a venue.  Students who have already responded to this invitation need not respond again.

Tuesday 3 March

 

1. For information about tuition credits for courses that you wish to drop or which you already have dropped go to: Tuition Credit   The deadline for dropping Fall courses is 10 March and full year courses 3 April.  You must use your credit for Winter and/or Summer courses this year and/or Fall/Winter courses in 2009-2010.  Credits will expire on 30 April 2010. 

 

If you have problems or need further clarification, go to the Bennett Centre.

3. The contract between York and CUPE has neither been "negotiated" (the end of the strike was legislated) nor settled.  Details will be announced in several weeks time by the Provincially appointed arbitrator once he has determined a fair settlement of all outstanding issues.
