    Reading:

    Writing:

    • Post a response to the reading material on the Dialogue Forum prior to the class meeting on May 26.
My suggestion for a response – which you are welcome to ignore – is that you imagine one course or one assessment activity from a course and write about in what ways it did or did not exemplify (some of) the six principles that Ramsden identifies or the eleven favourable conditions of Simpson and Gibbs.
    • Post replies to at least two of your colleagues’ May 26 response papers prior to the class meeting on May 28.

    Microteaching or Interview:

If you wish to participate in a microteaching session, please send me (rsheese@yorku.ca) a note confirming that you wish to select that option; and if you know it, please include what your topic will be. I am hoping that we will be able to incorporate everyone by scheduling three two-hour sessions in the CST at the times below. If you have a strong preference among these times, please let me know that as well.

    • Monday, June 9, 11:15 – 1:15
    • Wednesday, June 11, 11:15 – 1:15
    • Monday, June 16, 11:15 – 1:15

If you intend to conduct an interview, please send me a note confirming that you wish to select this option. In your note please tell me who you hope to interview and why you feel this person would be appropriate for you. If you have begun to prepare interview questions, you could also include these in your note. And if you will need to borrow equipment to record the interview, please let me know that as well.
