There should be an easy access FAQ link and the library should also integrate something similar to "ask a student expert" on the main page to make it easy to find content on the library site. The "Catalogue Help" page is an eye sore. The information needs to be organized in a way not to intimidate the user from reading the help section. A better graphical layout and use of appropriate type will encourage users to read that section of the page.
