Dr. Uzo Anucha is an Associate Professor at the School of Social Work, York University; Adjunct Professor, School of Social Work, University of Windsor; and Research Associate, Centre for Urban and Community Studies, University of Toronto.

She holds a PhD in Social Work from the University of Toronto; BSW and MSW in Social Work from York University; MSc in Clinical Psychology from the University of Benin, Nigeria; and BSc in Psychology from the University of Nigeria. Uzo Anucha's scholarship, teaching and professional activity focuses on promoting equity and access for diverse communities within local, national and international contexts.

Dr. Kokunre Agbontaen-Eghafona is an Associate Professor of Anthropology and Head of the Department of Sociology and Anthropology at the University of Benin, Nigeria. She holds a PhD in Archaeology from the University of Nigeria; MSc in Archaeology from the University of Ibadan; and MA and BA in History from the University of Benin.

Kokunre Eghafona's scholarship, teaching and publications focus on Oral Literature, Ethno-Archaeology, Collections Management and Ethnography of Indigenous Knowledge/Technology in Nigeria. Much of her work centres on advocacy and behavioural change communication. She is a consultant on matters of child and women trafficking, and social impact assessments, conducted for both government ministries and corporations.
