Yes, I'm really from California. I grew up in and around the San Francisco area.
I received my undergraduate degree in chemistry from UNR specializing in biochemistry. I then earned my Master's degree in Organic Chemistry (also from UNR). I then picked up my Ph.D. from the University of California - Irvine in Theoretical Chemistry. I did postdoctoral work in solid-state physics and computational molecular architecture.
I wrote my first computer program in 1976 - Yes, I'm old.
No, I'm not gay.
Yes, I do my own laundry.
No, The hot Corvette in the parking lot is not mine. I drive a Honda.
No, I'm not on drugs. I'm a little hyper sometimes but it is all natural.
