Clicker Implementation in the Classroom
Instructor
Instructors can use the clicker technology provided by Turning Technologies as a means of transforming the classroom for active learning, discussion, and exchange of ideas. It must be acknowledged, however, that the clickers themselves only serve to extend the range of possibilities for the instructor.
Successful classroom implementation will require careful thought by the instructor about identifiable goals. Students must be committed to bringing their clickers to class in order to participate.
Distribution
Instructor must coordinate directly with Turning Technologies to make clickers available to their registered students.
Student Registration
Having purchased a clicker, the student register the device before using them in class. Detailed instructions are available in the student section of the site.
