Sasha Baglay is an Assistant Professor at the University of Ontario Institute of Technology and an Adjunct Professor at Osgoode Hall LawSchool. Her primary research interests lie in Canadian and comparative immigration and refugee law and policy.

Over the years, Sasha worked with refugee claimants at various stages of refugee determination process and represented a number of claims before the Immigration and Refugee Board of Canada. She has recently co-authored a book on Canadian refugee law (Refugee Law, Irwin Law Book, 2007) and is currently working on co-authoring another book on immigration and refugee law (forthcoming in the fall of 2008).
