CIKM 2010 will take place in Fairmont Royal York, Downtown Toronto, 100 Front Street W, Ontario, Canada M5J1E3.The Fairmont Royal York's classic architectural lines stand out among the impressive buildings that rise along the Toronto skyline. This grand railroad era hotel is located across from Union Station and two blocks from the Metro Toronto Convention Center and the Air Canada Centre. From the Airport to the Fairmont Royal York Hotel

The Lester B. Pearson International Airport is located 27 km (16 miles) of downtown Toronto. There are many ways to travel from and to the airport.

Taxis – Taxis are readily available outside the terminal. The approximate fare to downtown Toronto, under normal conditions, is CAD 40.00 (inclusive of taxes and tip).

Shuttle Service – Airport Express service, which runs from 4:55 a.m. to 12:55 a.m., departs every 20 or 30 minutes via Highway Coach to major centrally-located hotels such as the Fairmont Royal York. The Airport Express service from Terminal 1 to downtown Toronto departs from the Arrivals Level at Terminal 1, Post B3. Approximate travel time is 1 hour to 1.5 hours pending traffic and weather. The one-way fare is CAD 16.45 and the roundtrip fee is CAD 28.35. Tickets can be purchased from the Airport Express Customer Service Desk located on the Arrivals Levels (outside the domestic baggage claim area).

Downtown Public Transportation

Toronto Transit Commission – The Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) is the quick, convenient and safe way to get around Toronto. The subway system is linked with buses and streetcars to get you around Toronto on one fare, provided it’s a one-way trip with no stopovers.

Subway – On weekdays and Saturdays, trains run every few minutes from about 6:00 a.m. until 1:30 a.m. On Sundays, they run from about 9:00 a.m. to 1:30 a.m.

Taxis – There are a number of different taxi companies in Toronto. Fares are standard, metered and non-negotiable. If your service was acceptable, a 10-15% tip is customary.
