Advancing the Rule of Law: A Global Academic Partnership Conference

In a time of unprecedented global challenges to the rule of law, law schools—and the lawyers and judges they help shape—have a vital role to play.

Taking place at Osgoode Hall Law School’s downtown Toronto campus, with remote participation options available, this inaugural conference of the Rule of Law Global Academic Partnership, a non-partisan collaboration among over 150 law schools worldwide—will convene law school deans, academics, and other institutional leaders to develop concrete next steps to advance the rule of law during these challenging times. It features plenary sessions with deans, judges, and organizational leaders, as well as breakout sessions on collaborative research, innovative civic education, and substantive themes.
