Technology Internship Program

The Technology Internship Program (TIP) is an optional experiential education program that provides students with the opportunity to engage in four, eight, twelve or sixteen month paid internships. While on internship, students apply their classroom learning in a work environment, explore potential career options, and build relationships with colleagues and employers in their field of study. To participate in TIP, students must be 3rd year full time Honours students majoring in one of the following areas:

  • Astronomy, Biophysics and Physics
  • Computer, Geomatics, Software and Space Engineering
  • Computer Science and Computer Security
  • Information Technology (ITEC)
  • Digital Media
