My research is in the area of Software Engineering and in particular Requirements Engineering. My focus over the past years has been the analysis, design and configuration of customizable software. I am investigating the role of requirements in designing the configurability aspect of software systems. I am also looking at requirements-based ways to support the derivation of software configurations that best fit given situations and contexts. Domains of interest range from common desktop applications such as e-mail clients and word processors, to customizable communication systems for those with cognitive and physical impairments.
