Podcasting India 2006 was made possible through the collaborative and innovative efforts of Professors Denise Nuttall and Renate Wickens (Fine Arts Cultural Studies, York University, Toronto, Canada).
StudentsThe students enrolled in The Arts of India shared a delightful sense of adventure and curiosity. Individually and collectively, they represented a variety of academic disciplines that included cultural theory, dancing, design, film, and music. Together they experienced the fine and performing arts in India for the first time.
Technical AssistanceAs the 2006 TEL work study student for Professor Wickens, Gordon Burkell took on the challenging task of producing and distributing the podcasts out of India. Technical consultations were provided by Tim Hampton, Kelly Parke, and Bob Mackenzie.
Other CreditsAdvice and assistance was provided by The Shastri Indo-Canadian Institute and, especially, by York International (Beth Alaksa, Coordinator International Mobility Programs) and the Canadian Consulate in Mumbai (Gary Luton, Consul General).
