Gordon Burkell, the digital audio recorder (sampling rates, bit depths, compression formats, and compression bitrates) for The Arts in Culture: The Arts of India was employed as a work study student by Professor Wickens for the summer of 2006. His primary task was to record the podcasts and distribute them from Mumbai. He is an Affiliate Member of the Canadian Society of Cinematographers and, currently, works as a Teaching Assistant at Ryerson University (Toronto).

Amy Mamtura

In 2006, Amy Mamtura was a student in The Arts in Culture: The Arts of India. She was subsequently employed as a work study student by Professor Wickens and asked to re-design the Mumbai Podcast website. Currently, Amy Mamtura is an enthusiastic third year student in the York/Sheridan Design Program. Taking her design inspiration from the East, Ms. Mamtura works on finding a balance between the visual cultures of the west and the Asian subcontinent. With the completion of her studies, she is likely to return to her city of origin, Mumbai.
