Why should you participate?
Clubs and Organizations on campus enrich the student experience by providing engaging opportunities outside of the classroom. The York U Spirit Day team would like to increase participation of students by showcasing York’s diverse student groups and their various interests. Your participation will help demonstrate York University pride through bringing your niche area to others' attention; highlighting the diversity of interests and talents within York.
Deadline
Deadline for applications is October 17, 2022. Late or incomplete applications will not be accepted.
Disclaimer
Participation is voluntary and clubs and organizations are responsible for any expenses. Clubs and organizations are responsible for planning their activity and for finding volunteers to run their proposed initiative.
Each application will be reviewed to ensure the proposed activities help to increase York pride and spirit. Therefore, not all applications will be accepted for inclusion in the York U Spirit Day program. Confirmation of participation will be sent in October 18, 2022.
Recognition
Each club or organization that participates in this year’s York U Spirit Day will receive a letter of recognition from the Office of the President, thanking the group for their participation. Events and activities run by the club or organization will be advertised on the York U Spirit Day website and incorporated into our community outreach materials.
