Creating a Great Experience Together

The Hennick JD/MBA program attracts students who are dedicated to academic excellence in the study of business and law, and who also want to pursue rewarding careers and make meaningful contributions to society.

Being part of a diverse, vibrant community also makes it easier to fully enjoy campus life. Whether you’re looking for a place to live, are interested in extracurricular activities or want to explore all that York University and the rest of Toronto have to offer, your peers and the Hennick JD/MBA team – led by our Assistant Director – are here to help you make the most of your time at Osgoode and Schulich. You can look forward to a steady stream of student-run social, personal development and networking events, including guest lectures, expert panels and an annual conference.

Student Groups

The JD/MBA Students’ Association (JMSA)

Bringing together current students with alumni who are launched in their careers, the JD/MBA Students’ Association hosts networking events, conferences and other activities to help everyone support one another and stay connected. One of the association’s key initiatives is the peer-to-peer mentorship program, in which upper-year students provide insights, guidance and support to mentees who are just beginning the program. The students, with support from our Program Directors, host an annual Business and Law Conference, featuring a Keynote Speaker and Panelists representing industry leaders, legal experts, and business professionals as they converge to explore an important topic at the intersection of law and business.
