Vita Di Serio

%%ALT%%

Vice President, People and Culture, Prophix
Sociology, Bachelor of Arts (BA) 1995

Vita Di Serio is a VP of People and Culture at Prophix, a PE-backed B2B SaaS company. She holds her CHRL designation and has spent her entire career in HR across hospitality, dental practice management, media, and now tech. Each industry taught her something different about people, culture, and what it takes to build organizations where people and performance thrive together.

At Prophix, Vita is the first People and Culture executive, building the function from the ground up while the business scaled quickly. Today, she is leading the people side of the company’s AI-first transformation, which is some of the most interesting and complex work of her career.

Outside of work, family is everything. Vita is married with two adult daughters and time with them is most important to her. She stays active, loves to travel, and mentorship is a consistent part of how she gives back, both externally and internally at Prophix where she actively mentor colleagues across the organization.

This is Vita’s second year with the Advancing YU Women's Stream. She wants you to bring your real questions and your ambitions. That's where the best conversations happen.
