Chief of Staff to the President, Kühne Logistics University
Graduate Program in Public Policy, Administration & Law, Master of Public Policy, Administration and Law (MPPAL) 2014

Danielle is a leader in higher education with twenty years of international experience in innovative program creation and partnership development, with a particular focus on issues of access and equity.

In her current role, Danielle supports strategic initiatives across Kühne Logistics University, a growing university in Hamburg, Germany. Danielle serves as a key advisor to the university’s leadership team and facilitates communication and collaboration across various departments and stakeholders to ensure effective decision-making and execution of initiatives.

When I started the MPPAL program, I had spent several years developing and delivering educational programming, but was keen to learn how I could effect change on a broader, more strategic level. My interest in justice and citizenship made the “L” in MPPAL an important factor in choosing York over other policy degrees, but what has had the most impact on my work was the time spent on evaluation theory and practice. I really appreciated that everyone in my cohort was able to focus their writing and research on the topics that were most relevant to them and having the opportunity to learn more about their work made it an especially rich experience.
