David is currently the Executive Director – Funding, Actuarial and Data Analytics at Ontario Pension Board, where he is responsible for developing funding and sustainability strategies, oversight of the actuarial function, and the development of a data analytics approach to support and enhance OPB functions. David joined OPB in June of 2025, and prior to that, David spent 20 plus years in the Ontario Public Service in the areas of policy, fiscal planning, employee relations, and collective bargaining/negotiations. Prior to OPB, David was most recently the Assistant Deputy Minister of Employee Relations and Negotiations within the Treasury Board Secretariat, where he was responsible for collective bargaining, enterprise-wide employee relations, and full time equivalent (FTE) management.
