Gaina Samarah is the Director of Investments and Advisory Services at Value Insight Realty. Gaina supports clients by performing real estate valuations, investment and financial analyses, market research and a wide range of other real estate advisory services.

Over the past decade, Gaina has held various positions in the Canadian capital markets, gaining experience in bond origination across various sectors, including retail, real estate and home building. Gaina brings a unique perspective and significant experience in business analysis, valuation and financial modeling, structuring of debt transactions as well as marketing and deals execution in capital markets.
Prior to Value Insight Realty, Gaina was an Associate Director within the High Yield & Leveraged Finance group at Scotiabank, where she specialized in originating and executing high-yield bonds and capital structure advisory.

Gaina holds a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) from York University and a Master of Finance (MFin) from Queen’s University. She is also a Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA) and Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) Charterholder.
