Hasnain joined ISM as President & CEO in 2019. His leadership style positions customer relationships and outcomes at the heart of every conversation. He is passionate about translating technology and innovative solutions into business drivers for his customers.

Throughout his career, Hasnain has built and led high performing teams that challenge the status quo. Through his nearly 20 years with IBM, he held a range of leadership and executive roles across the sales and finance organizations. Inspired by the support he has received throughout his own career, he is focused on the growth, development, and mentorship of all ISMers to create rewarding careers.

Hasnain was born and raised in the coastal city of Dar-es-Salaam, Tanzania. He moved to Canada in 1996 to purse a Bachelor’s Degree in Business and Economics at York University, and subsequently earned his Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation. Outside of work, Hasnain enjoys working out, playing squash, cycling, and going on adventures with his family.
