Kareem Bonner has been in the digital marketing field for over 18 years. His journey began at Dell Canada Inc., where he held various roles over the course of 11 years.
Now an independent consultant, Kareem was most recently the Senior Marketing Manager at Obsidi®, where he led marketing strategy and execution to support the company’s mission of connecting, advancing, and celebrating Black professionals in technology. Before joining Obsidi®, Kareem served as Director, eCommerce and Marketing at Elizabeth Grant. In these roles, he spearheaded digital communications, including managing corporate websites, blogs, newsletters, e-mail marketing campaigns, and social media platforms.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology with a minor in Business Administration from York University, as well as certificates in multimedia storytelling, digital strategy and communications, and digital marketing management from the University of Toronto.
Kareem is passionate about mentorship and aspires to empower the next generation to achieve success while continuing to fight racial and social injustices.
