Lisa Reinhardt’s professional career began in public education where for 17 years she was a member of the Senior Leadership Team, closely supporting and providing guidance to the elected Board of Trustees in their local governance and policy making roles. In this capacity, Lisa was able to apply provincial policy at the local level and ensure the Board was in compliance with its legislative obligations. Currently, as the Director of Corporate Affairs, Lisa oversees operations and is actively engaged in Ontario Public School Boards’ Association’s advocacy to the provincial government on matters impacting public education across the province. This role enables Lisa to apply and explore her passion for good governance, strategic planning, public policy, and politics in a meaningful way in support of a strong, equitable, and accountable public education system in Ontario. In addition to being a motivated and hard working professional, Lisa is a parent and role model to four amazing teenagers who both challenge and motivate her to continue learning and improving herself each and every day.

Achieving a Master's degree has been one of Lisa's life-long goals. The MPPAL program was a perfect fit for Lisa's professional interests and future aspirations. Learning with and from amazing colleagues has broadened Lisa's perspective on many matters of public policy and resulted in friendships that will last a lifetime.
