Financial & Business Economics
Economics teaches you to analyze the full problems from a variety of perspectives. The diversity of courses makes the major so appealing because you learn how similar theories can be applied in so many different ways. The professors in the Department of Economics never shy away from talking about research or current economic problems in the real world with different ways of approaching them.
The education I've received at York makes me stand out because the program is designed with a perfect blend of theory and application. This helps me analyze and try to find solutions to real world problems.
