Doing an MA in Gender, Feminist & Women's Studies has enhanced my career in the social service sector. Given that the degree program is multi-disciplinary, I gained the skills necessary to take on various leadership roles. Upon completing the program in August 2020, I obtained full-time employment as a Manager at a mental health agency. Therefore, I would definitely recommend the GFWS program at York University.
