I have worked in the family courts for more than 30 years, been on the Ontario Legal Aid Duty Counsel panel in both domestic and protection matters, acted as representative for children with the Office of the Children's Lawyers Panel for more than 10 years in the past and now work with the families in protection areas, worked with various Women's Shelter clients, adoption agencies, been on the Ontario Legal Aid Area Committee. Prior to being a lawyer I worked in a secure treatment facility for juveniles for five years and worked there with suicidal girls
