Nilufa is an associate lawyer at Roselyn T. Pecus Professional Corporation who approaches her clients and cases in a compassionate and professional manner. She brings a wealth of varied experiences she has gained over the last 26 years of practicing Family Law. She is practical, honest, and direct in her approach, but gentle and empathetic particularly in cases involving domestic abuse.

Nilufa obtained her undergraduate degree in Psychology from York University in 1992 and subsequently her law degree from the University of Ottawa in 1995. She articled with the Office of the Children’s Lawyer and was called to the Ontario Bar in 1997.

Nilufa’s practice encompasses a variety of family law cases including high conflict parenting matters, child welfare, child and spousal support, and property division. She has represented clients at both Ontario and Superior Court of Justice.

Nilufa brings her experience, skills, knowledge, and tenacity to the firm. She is in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario and a member of the Family Lawyers Association.

She is fluent in Gujrati.

Nilufa enjoys cooking, traveling, and spending time with friends, colleagues, and family.
