Transcript for James Tulloch- EE Student Experiences

I wake up and there's a beat in my head and I'm just like I have to put this together. How could I not be excited about music?

The value out of the experiential learning program is, unlike my theory courses, I feel like I take away a lot more in learning from these courses than I would learn through a book or through a lecture because I actually get to apply it myself. I get feedback from my classmates as well as my teachers about what to fix and what to adjust.

The program itself allows a lot of different cultures and backgrounds to mesh together so that everyone can develop their own sound but not through the usual channel. The program is generally geared towards people who want to be musicians later on in their life; be as composers, performers or teachers and it's just like a whole blast all the time.

My name is James Tulloch and I'm in the School of the Arts, Media, Performance and Design music program.
