Orientation is a great way for new students and their families to transition into university, discover campus resources, and establish social and academic networks. Orientation activities include York Orientation Day, Parent and Family Orientation, Orientation Express, Winter Orientation, and Summer Orientation.

Fall Academic Orientation 2021

Attending Academic Orientation will help you connect with fellow students and learn about your academic program by meeting with faculty members, peer leaders and staff. In addition, you will also learn about all of the resources available to you at your respective College and York University to help you succeed!

Academic Orientation will be held from August 27 - September 3, 2021 and is divided according to your academic program/major.

All incoming students are assigned a Peer Mentor. To participate in Academic Orientation, you will receive an email from your Peer Mentor with your assigned Academic Orientation session date and registration form. A confirmation email along with a Zoom link to access the session will be sent following registration.

Parent & Family Orientation Fall 2021

Parent and Family Orientation (PFO) is an opportunity for parents and student family supporters to hear from members of the Calumet and Stong College community about services, events, and opportunities available to support their student’s success.
