Our Founder
Meet Magali, or Assô, Assô means life, it was a river name in Ivory Coast, precisely Tiassale -Ndouci. Her grandfather gave the name to her mum because she was precious to him like the river everyone were worshipping. Using Assô as her brand name is to give people a glimpse of the taste of the real Assô’s food.
She moved to Canada in 2016 to study economics. During the COVID-19 pandemic, she discovered her passion for cooking, leading to a catering business and sharing quick recipes online.
She also works in risk management, where she realized her sauces are great for quick meals after a long day. Her unique blend of culinary skills and expertise allows her to create simple, delicious dishes.
