Brent J. Arnold is a partner practicing in Gowling WLG's Advocacy department, specializing in cyber security and commercial litigation. He acts for plaintiffs and defendants in technology and data breach-related litigation and serves as breach coach / counsel for companies affected by cyber-attacks.
Brent has chaired cybersecurity committees for the Ontario Bar Association, the Defense Research Institute, and the International Association of Defense Counsel and currently serves on the privacy and access executive for the Canadian Bar Association. Brent belongs to artificial intelligence task forces for the Defense Research Institute, The Advocates’ Society, the Ontario Bar Association and the Sedona Conference. He is a past chair of The Canadian Internet Society.
