Italian Studies

The thing I liked the best about my program is that studying Italian literature opened my mind and my critical analysis towards issues that are persistent in today's world. My ultimate goal is undertaking a career in Global affairs. My education at York has helped me build a strong foundation towards that goal. I now understand the importance of issues such as democracy, freedom, equality, meritocracy, feminism and the oppression that women and visible minorities face on a daily basis.
