Deea Deb is a seasoned communications professional with 17 years of experience in strategic corporate communications. She holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in English & Professional Writing from York University (class of 2024). During her studies, Deea was recognized for her academic excellence and mentorship, earning a place in the Dean's Circle of Student Scholars, receiving the Outstanding Peer Mentor award, and winning the LA&PS Digital Composition Prize. She also has published work with both York University and James Madison University.

At York, Deea also worked as a Marketing + Communications Assistant in York’s Division of Students, where she developed her skills in messaging, branding, and digital engagement. She currently works as a Communications Specialist at Turner Fleischer, an integrated design studio in the AEC industry.
