In addition to her BA in Philosophy, Diana also earned a bachelor’s of Social Work and a master’s degree in Health Policy and Equity, all from York. She is currently a case coordinator with the Spanning the Gaps to Post Secondary Education Program at the G. Raymond Chang School of Continuing Education, Ryerson University. With a background in community engagement and health promotion in Toronto’s diverse communities along with an internship in Bhopal, India’s gas and water contaminated neighbourhoods, she has had the opportunity to work alongside individuals in articulating their visions for themselves in different parts of the world.
The Philosophy program was not a job preparation program, it was a program that helped me ask and understand important questions about the world we live in. I have felt the influence of the program in all aspects of my life; my studies in Philosophy gave me the tools needed in asking critical questions about the world while working toward answers.
