Gaurav Sharma
Information Technology
One of my favourite experiences at York University has been joining the Information Technology Student Association. My experience was being on the team for three years, starting off as an associate and eventually transitioning into the role as Vice President. I learned a lot in each position and being in the club taught me valuable real-life experiences. I gained leadership, team management, budgeting, networking, and negotiating skills all from being part of the club. These are all valuable skills to learn and to apply especially in the workforce.
