Being a student at York taught me discipline and how to expand my thought horizon. During my Communications program, I had great professors who showcased the abilities of thought-leaders, inspiring me to pursue my dreams and make them a reality.

I want to give thanks to Dalton Kehoe. His courses stand out to this day as having been the most influential throughout my student years. You never know where your studies will take you. I have a tremendous appreciation for communication skills both with people and how people are communicating to us.

I feel fortunate and humbled to have been featured in the media with such publications as The Globe and Mail, Notable.ca, Profit 500, Financial Post, and Food in Canada Magazine. I have also partnered with UPS and American Express to share my entrepreneurial journey on their platforms. Some highlights of my career were when I received the EY Entrepreneur Of The Year award in 2014, and in that same year scored the largest deal on CBC Dragons' Den - which still remains the #1 viewed pitch in the history of the show.
