Ken Leung is Director, Horizon Risk Surveillance at the Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions (OSFI). In this role, he leads a team that conducts surveillance on emerging and horizon risks affecting banks and insurers. He also advocates for diversity, equity and inclusion as Co-Chair of the Multiculturalism Employee Resource Group at OSFI.
Prior to his current role, Ken held the position of Director, Accounting Policy Division at OSFI, where he was responsible for the accounting, audit and disclosure policies for federally regulated financial institutions. Before joining OSFI, he held various roles at CIBC within Internal Audit, Treasury Finance, Corporate Development, Card Products Division and Commercial Banking. He began his career at Deloitte & Touche LLP in the Assurance & Advisory Services group.
Ken is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA Ontario), Certified Public Accountant (Illinois) and holds an Honours Bachelor of Administrative Studies degree from York University.
