Marlon Reid is an entrepreneur, executive leader, and mentor with more than two decades of experience spanning financial services, capital markets, strategy, operations, governance, and organizational transformation. He is currently focused on entrepreneurial and advisory initiatives while supporting organizations and leaders navigating growth and change.

Marlon has held senior leadership roles at CIBC and TD Securities. At CIBC, he served as Director, Client Strategy within Personal and Business Banking and held leadership positions across retail banking, commercial banking, wealth management, and corporate governance. Earlier, at TD Securities, he served as Vice President, Global Counterparty Credit – Investment Banking, supporting complex capital markets and energy transactions. He has also been an advocate for inclusion and talent development through leadership roles in diversity and employee resource initiatives.

A dedicated community builder, Marlon has served as President of the Canadian Association of Urban Financial Professionals and Chair of its Corporate Advisory Board. He currently serves as Director and Treasurer of the 100 Strong Foundation and has contributed to organizations including the Art Gallery of Ontario, the Rotman School of Management, the Toronto Public Library Foundation, and the University of Ottawa.

Marlon holds a Bachelor of Commerce from York University, a Juris Doctor from the University of Ottawa, a Master of Finance from the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto, and has completed the Chief Operating Officer Executive Program at MIT. He is passionate about helping emerging leaders navigate their careers with purpose, confidence, and impact.
