Ming Kan Leung
Information Technology, Bachelor of Arts (BA)
I was given opportunities to work as an ITEC peer mentor and examination invigilator. I was more than happy to help ITEC students because I understood the difficulties, they might encounter in their studies having been through it myself.
At York, I worked really hard on both academic and extra-curricular volunteer activities. To date, I am happy that I have done well in my studies, and above all, I have also learned more positive ways to live healthy and well. By being involved in a few student clubs as members and also volunteering as an executive member at ITSA (Information Technology Student Association), I gained skills in planning and organization, teamwork, leadership and time management.
