Graduating from York University in 2001, Steve's career spans 20 years across some of the world’s largest organizations. Over his career, Steve has had leadership roles in both Consumer Goods and Retail. His depth and breadth of experience crosses many functions, including sales, strategy, operations and merchandising with many Fortune 100 companies including P&G, Kraft Heinz, Walmart and Target. As an advocate of strong corporate culture, Steve’s focus goes above and beyond being the executive sponsor on many committees including Diversity and Inclusion, Mental Health, University Relations, and Team Member Training. Steve resides in the GTA area with his wife Cathy and their amazing 2 boys, William (14) and Christopher (11). When not in the office, Steve is usually found in the hockey arenas watching his boys play.

What he is excited to share with students is how his degree and time at York University helped prepare him for his corporate journey. In addition, over his career, there were many ups and downs. Being balanced on how we celebrate the ups, but more importantly, how we become resilient and adaptable during the more challenging times is what helps form stronger leadership. Over his 20 years, I have had the pleasure of being involved in so many unique situations, and all, in their own way, have contributed to the person that he is today.
