Tracy Wynne is Vice-President & Associate General Counsel, Workplace Solutions and Legal Operations with Canada Life. In this role, she provides practical solution-oriented advice and business savvy risk assessments to the company on a wide range of matters across Canada. Tracy manages a large team of legal professionals providing strategic leadership that drives continuous improvement and innovation within the Legal team. She is the recipient of the Canadian General Counsel Award for Litigation Management, 2018. Prior to joining Canada Life, Tracy was General Counsel, Litigation at Canadian Pacific Railway Company and before that a partner at Lax O’Sullivan Lisus Gottlieb LLP. In private practice, Tracy has been recognized by Lexpert as “Repeatedly Recommended” and as a “Leading Practitioner”. Tracy is a graduate of McMaster University BA) and Osgoode Hall, York University (JD). She has also completed the Director Education Program, Institute of Corporate Directors, at the University of Toronto, Rotman School of Business.
