Vanessa Greco (BHRM ’17) is a Senior Human Resources Business Partner at Woodbine Entertainment Group, where she leads complex labour and employee relations initiatives across multi-union and non-unionized environments. With over a decade of HR experience across diverse industries such as manufacturing, telecommunications, construction, security services, entertainment, and horse racing. Vanessa specializes in collective bargaining, policy development, and leadership training. She is passionate about fostering fair and ethical workplaces and is currently pursuing her next chapter as a law school applicant, aspiring to specialize in labour and employment law.

York University shaped both my professional foundation and personal growth. Through the Bachelor of Human Resources Management program, I developed a strong understanding of employment law, labour relations, and organizational strategy—skills that became the cornerstone of my HR career. Beyond academics, York taught me resilience, leadership, and the importance of equity and inclusion in every workplace. The supportive community and diverse learning environment inspired me to pursue my passion for fair and ethical employment practices, ultimately motivating me to take the next step toward law school and continue advocating for meaningful change.
