Dolcie Davis is an ordained minister, educator, and community leader dedicated to creating inclusive, faith-driven spaces that foster growth and empowerment. With over two decades of service in ministry and active leadership, she organizes women’s conferences, prayer gatherings, and retreats that inspire connection and spiritual renewal. As a mature student pursuing her Bachelor of Education, Dolcie integrates culturally responsive pedagogy into her teaching practice, emphasizing equity, creativity, and a sense of belonging. Passionate about mentoring and service, she combines her love for faith, education, and community building to empower others to walk in purpose and divine authority.
I graduated cum laude from York University’s Gender and Women’s Studies program, where I developed a strong foundation in equity, diversity, and social justice. This academic journey sharpened my critical lens on issues of gender, identity, and power, which continues to shape my perspective as I pursue a Bachelor of Education. My studies in education enable me to apply theory in practice, preparing me to create inclusive, culturally responsive classrooms where all students can thrive. Together, these experiences reflect my passion for teaching, leadership, and fostering environments that honour difference and empower learners.
