Central Web Services

York offers web page hosting to faculty, departments, organizations and research units. To host a web site on York's servers you must have an active Central Web Service account. The Central Web Service is a publishing service to assist those who want to publish on www.yorku.ca. The service provides enhanced features such as FrontPage publishing, ASP, CGI, and database access.

Upload/Publish your Files

You can publish uploaded web pages to your Central Web Service web space using HTML editors that have built-in publishing features, or by using FTP (file transfer protocol).
