Set-up Custom Alerts

Custom Alerts allow you to be notified when something unusual happens with the traffic to your site.

Examples of what Custom Alerts could be set up for include notification when:

  • traffic goes up or down significantly;
  • the amount of traffic from a specific source changes; and/or
  • the amount of time spent on specific pages goes up or down.

When a Custom Alert is triggered, it sends an email to the email address associated with the account that you are logged in as when you create the Custom Alert (ie. If you are logged in as 'sam@gmail.com' when you create the Custom Alert, it will send the message to 'sam@gmail.com' when it is triggered.)
