How do I know if I’m eligible?

The following interactive tools can help you navigate and understand your course completion options and eligibility, including:

Assessed Grade

Updated as of April 19, 2024

Assessed grades are one option for completing your courses during and after the labour disruption.

An assessed grade is where your current grade becomes your final grade, which is determined based on already completed and graded course work.

Use this interactive tool to learn about your eligibility for an assessed grade, and how to apply.

Pass/Fail

Updated as of April 19, 2024

Earning course credits as a Pass/Fail may be an option for completing your courses during and after the labour disruption.

The Pass/Fail grading option allows you to earn a limited number of credits towards your degree on a Pass/Fail basis, without impacting your GPA.

Use this interactive tool to determine your eligibility for the Pass/Fail grading option, and your next steps.

Course Withdrawal

Updated as of April 19, 2024

Course withdrawal is an option for most undergraduate winter (W) and year (Y) term courses. The course withdrawal option does not apply to:

  • Graduate courses or the Juris Doctor (JD) program
  • Fall (F) term courses

The course withdrawal option allows you to drop one or more courses without receiving a final grade or course credit. Doing so will not impact your Grade Point Average (GPA), transcript or academic standing.

If you chose to withdraw from a course due to the labour disruption, you may be eligible for the tuition credit opportunity (TCO). For more information about course withdrawal and the TCO, please refer to the course completion resources page.
