A group of York University physics students is working to shed more light on the topic of dark matter in collaboration with colleagues in Germany, thanks to the EXPeriential Learning Opportunity through Research and Exchange program (EXPLORE), an endeavour that provides students with hands-on experience in scientific research.
Precision wins York physics professor a lifetime achievement medal
The 2020 Canadian Association of Physicists (CAP) Medal for Lifetime Achievement in Physics will be awarded to York University physics Professor Eric Hessels. The annual medal awards researchers for their distinguished service to physics over an extended time or a recent outstanding achievement.
