I completed my undergraduate training in the Specialized Honours Psychology program at York University. My honours thesis, titled “Autobiographical Memory Narratives in Children with Autism Spectrum Disorder,” was conducted under the supervision of Dr. Thanujeni Pathman and Dr. Mary Desrocher, in collaboration with Dr. Jonathan Weiss. My study focused on the ability of children with autism to narrate memories related to the self and past experiences.
My interest in this area was sparked by my participation in the Special Olympics World Games 2019, where I competed in tennis. I plan to pursue a Master’s degree and eventually a PhD, with the aspiration of becoming a clinical neuropsychologist. I hope to further explore the neuropsychological profile of children with autism, particularly in relation to their daily adaptive functioning and the psychometric properties of current assessments.
Outside of academic research, I enjoy baking, particularly French pastries. I also enjoy appreciating nature through walks, playing tennis, and knitting in my spare time.
