Hello! My name is Olivia Gallo, and I’m heading into my third year of the Honours Bachelor of Arts program in Psychology at Glendon College. I’m currently preparing to work under the supervision of Dr. Perry as I begin my honours thesis. My research focuses on the often-invisible planning that occurs within families raising both neurodivergent and neurotypical children, particularly the unspoken expectation placed on the neurotypical child to assume the role of future caregiver for their sibling. I’m passionate about exploring the psychological and emotional impacts of these dynamics and bringing more visibility to the lived experiences of these individuals. I hope to pursue a career within the Clinical-Developmental field.
