Taje Mohabir is a 27 + year Financial Services industry veteran with 24+ years in an IT role before transitioning to business. He is passionate about operational efficiency and leveraging technology to solve business problems. He enjoys giving back to the community by volunteering his time with various charities. He is a father of two and loves Basketball, Golf and Tennis.

After starting in 1993, just before the internet became accessible, I was able to find a full-time job on Bay Street. York already had Atkinson available to allow me to continue my education at night. After a short time, work became demanding education was paused, but then I completed my degree in 2018. I was all set to become an accountant, but one class at York taught by a professor from Deloitte changed my career. He explained how computers, databases and systems would revolutionize the future of accounting and finance.
