Austin Zhao, FRSA, is the Founder & CEO of NorTech Innovations & Solutions, a Toronto-based firm dedicated to simplifying technology for individuals and businesses. With a passion for leveraging technology to solve problems and enhance experiences, Austin launched NorTech in 2025. His expertise spans HomeTech Support to Enterprise IT Services, including network infrastructure, cybersecurity, and media production systems. A 2025 graduate of York University, he was recognized with the Fellowship of Royal Society of Arts (FRSA) in 2025 for his contributions to the visual arts, reflecting his commitment to creativity and innovation.

York University profoundly shaped my perspective and career trajectory. My Communication & Media Studies program, particularly its focus on AI, surveillance, and policy, ignited my passion for understanding technology's societal impact. It wasn't just about theory; it equipped me with critical thinking and problem-solving skills essential for navigating the complex tech landscape.
